






In the course of this year's German G8 Presidency the German Forum on Enviroment and Development in cooperation with VENRO and the German Government held the Civil G8 Dialogue. The two day event took place at the 25th and 26th of April in the Beethovenhalle in Bonn.
Federal Minister Wieczorek-Zeul and Regine Günther (Forum on Enviroment and Development) opened the Dialogue, followed by high-ranking staffed panels. The subjects of the panel were the G8-process, its evaluation by civil society
and the three main topics of the G8 presidency: Global Economy, Africa and climate/Energy. The Conference closed with a Roundtable together with the G8 Sherpas, which took place at the afternoon of the second day.
The Civil G8 Dialogue was Supported by a grant from Foundation Open Society Institute, Heinrich Böll Foundation and Russeu, Human Rights Centre Russia.
